INTRODUCTION
You are about to join a photography trip down to the stunning region of Norway’s Arctic Circle, Lofoten. You will get to experience photographing dramatic mountain peaks covered with snow and surrounded by surreal beaches. This part of the Earth offers breathtaking views of coastal villages and fjords, making it visual playground of a serious landscape photographer. And if we will get lucky, we will be able to see and capture the magnificent Northern Lights since March is still one of the winter months to see the Northern Lights. There will be always Northern Lights chasing every night. On this tour, Senja-Tromso-Finland is an optional extension. Please refer to the itinerary for flight information. |

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS

March 07
Arrive in Oslo before the official start of the tour. Book a hotel near the airport. Park Inn by Radisson Oslo Airport Hotel West is the usual hotel we stay before flying to Lofoten. March 08 (Official Start) Flight Oslo (OSL) to Harstad-Narvik, Evenes (EVE) Airport in the morning. Please book one of these flight suggestions. Norwegian Air Shuttle Departure 08:55 | Arrival 10:35 SAS Scandinavian Airlines Departure 08:35 | Arrival 10:20 Drive 4-5 hours to Lofoten. Check in at our cabin in Ramberg, Lofoten in the afternoon. Sunset shoot in Hamnoy and Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 09 Shooting locations: Hamnoy, Moskenes and Sakrisoya. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 10 Shooting locations: Vareid, Stortinden, Skagsanden and Flakstad. Northern Lights chase in the evening. |
March 11
Shooting locations: Fredvang, Skagsanden, Ramberg. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 12 Shooting locations: Hamnoy, Moskenes, Sakrisoya. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 13 Last sunrise shoot. After breakfast we will drive back to Harstad-Narvik, Evenes and check in at our hotel there near the airport. If you are joining the Tromso-Senja-Finland extension (March 14-20), you have to book your return flight from Tromso (TOS) to Oslo (OSL) on March 20 instead. If you are not joining, we will say goodbye to you the next day. Extension March 14 (Official End of Lofoten Tour) Take a morning flight to Oslo from Harstad-Narvik, Evenes. We will take you the airport and bid goodbye. The journey will continue for those who are joining the extension. We will continue our travelling to Senja after breakfast for Senja-Tromso-Finland Photography Tour extension. |

Full day of shooting around Senja. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 16 Last sunrise shoot in Senja. Drive to a location near the Norway-Finland border. Check in at our hotel there. Shoot sunset and Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 17 Morning shoot. Drive to Tromso. Check in at our hotel. Shoot sunset and Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 18 Full day of shooting around Tromso. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 19 Full day of shooting around Tromso. Northern Lights chase in the evening. March 20 (Official End of the Extension) Fly back to Oslo from Tromso in the morning. If you are staying in Oslo, please book your own hotel for the night of March 20.
