INTRODUCTION
Laguna and Quezon Province are home to hundreds of small and majestic waterfalls. Though most of them are still unexplored, there are a few that are easily accessible for photographers who love capturing their picturesque and spectacular scenes. There are also other waterfalls that require at least 30 minutes to even more than one hour of trekking to have a glimpse of their beauty. In this photography, we will explore 4-6 waterfalls located in the towns of Nagcarlan, Luisiana, Kalayaan and Mauban. Be prepared to get wet and walk on muddy trails because when we chase waterfalls, it is the price that we really pay. Waterproof your camera gears and tighten up your sandals straps because we are heading up and down the streams. |

ITINERARY
|
October 26
We will meet up early morning (3:00 AM) in Cubao, Quezon City. If you are living close to EDSA or SLEX, we can arrange to pick you up instead of going to the meet up place in Cubao. Then, we will head to Nagcarlan for our first location, Bunga Falls. It is just like 2 or 5 minutes to reach Bunga Falls from the parking area. Then we will head to Luisiana to shoot at Aliw Falls. It requires a 15-minute light trekking to this waterfalls from Dafi Resort. If the trail is muddy, it will take more than 15 minutes surely. So, be prepared for the mud. We will head to Lucban to check in and tidy up. There will be no time for rest because we are heading immediately to our next destination, Hangga Falls at the boundry of Lucban and Sampaloc. It will one hour and half to reach this waterfalls from the main road. We will be accompanied by our guide. Meals included: Dinner |
October 27
We will wake up early and head to Brgy. Macasin in Mauban. We will start our 30-minute trek early so avoid harsh light when we are shooting at Dahoyhoy Waterfalls. We will head to our hotel for breakfast and tidy up. Then we will check out. We will board our van and travel to Barangay Alitap. We will ride a motorcycle for 15 minutes up the the jumpoff of Alitap Waterfalls. Then, we will walk for 30 minutes to the waterfalls. In the afternoon, we will do a side trip to Cagbalete Island to photograph its mangrove area. We need to take a 20-minute boat ride to the mangrove area.
