Introduction
They said that Patagonia is the ultimate location for landscape photography. It is definitely hard to disagree with this statement because it is truly an incredible place. Patagonia boasts majestic sceneries that are truly unique and cannot be found and matched anywhere in the planet. The views of towering granite jagged peaks looming over vast temperate forests, lakes and streams make Patagonia a landscape photographer's paradise. With dramatic clouds, fiery sky colors and autumn colors; Patagonia is simply turned into a more jaw-dropping delight. Every twist and turn, you'll find raw and wild beauty. This photography adventures is only for the photographers with adventurous spirits. Though we will spend most of our nights at hotels, be prepared to sleep in a tent for 2 days. Capturing the beauty of Fitz Roy requires to be staying in the wild. We will provide meals and camping equipment during our camping in Laguna Capri. All you have to do is to be prepared for the adventure, in spirit and in body. |

Itinerary Highlights

April 11
Arrive in El Calafate, Argentina. We will collect all participants at the airport and we will drive straight to our hotel in El Calafate. We will spend a night there before we head out to Perito Moreno Glacier the next day. April 12 After early breakfast we will check out and head to Perito Moreno Glacier. We will spend some time shooting the grandeur of this massive glacier. Then, we will drive to El Chalten where we will spend most of our time in Argentina. After checking in we will go to a nearby spot for sunset shoot. We will have our dinner at a local restaurant and will prepare for tomorrow's adventure after. We will be heading to a 2-night camping stay at Laguna Capri camping grounds. Prepare your pack and carry only the essentials. We will leave all unnecessary things |
April 13
After early breakfast we will start our 4-km to Lago Capri. Ready your cameras because we will shoot along the way. We will set our camp at Lago Capri camping ground. We will stay there for 2 nights exploring and photographing the mighty Fitz Roy, canyons, streams and waterfalls. April 14 Shooting around Laguna Capri and Mirador Fitz Roy. April 15 Another full day of shooting around Fitz Roy April 16 Sunrise shoot at the waterfalls with Mount Fitz Roy in the background. Head back to our hotel in El Chalten after breakfast. Optional sunset shoot around El Chalten. Prepare for our tomorrow's long journey to Torres del Paine National Park in Chile. |
April 17
Head to Chile after breakfast. This will be a long journey. After checking in at our hotel at the heart of Torres del Paine, we will head to our sunset location at Salto Grande. April 18 - 20 Shooting around Torres del Paine National Park. Locations to visit are Salto Grande, Mirador Cuernos, Panoramic View near Explora Hotel, Mirador Condor, along Hosteria Pehoe. April 21 Last day of shooting in Torres del Paine. We will head to our hotel near Punta Arenas in the Afternoon. April 22 Flight departure in Punta Arenas |
