Introduction
Journey through one of the most culturally rich and photogenic volcanoes on the planet. Mount Bromo is the most iconic and picturesque mountain in Indonesia standing majestically tall at 2329m. The scenery in the crater is otherworldly, it has vents that keeps spewing off yellow-white sulfurous smoke and low laying clouds that cover the lower portion of the major crater. It is a volcanic paradise of ethereal and breathtaking landscapes. Join us in this photography adventure in East Java, Indonesia. We will explore Tumpak Sewu, Kawah Ijen and Mount Bromo via chartered 4x4 jeeps and a comfortable shuttle bus. We will drive up to different vantage points to witness its spectacular beauty during sunrise/sunset for stunning light and colors and also during twilight/night for star trails or Milky Way. There will be photography sessions with locals to provide cultural photographic experience. A rare photographic opportunity for photographers motivated in pushing their portfolio and skills to the next level. |

Itinerary Highlights

June 03 (Day 1)
Arriving one day earlier in Surabaya. Proceed to our hotel near the airport via hotel's free airport shuttle. Meals included: None June 04 (Day 2) After breakfast we will head to Mt. Bromo and check in at our accommodation immediately as we arrive. Travel time is around 3-4 hours. We will have our lunch at one of the restaurants around our accommodation. There will be a short time for rest for we will head immediately to Seruni Point for sunset and Milky Way shoot. Meals included: B June 05 (Day 3) Wake up call is at 2:00 AM. We will board our 4x4 jeep to Prau Hill for star-trail photography and sunrise shoot. It will be around 40 minutes to get there. After sunrise shoot, we will head back to our accommodation for breakfast. We will stop in the Sea of Sand to engage on travel photography. It will be candid and no setup will be provided. For one hour, we will photograph horses and horsemen as they embark on their journey to the crater of Mount Bromo. June 06 (Day 4)
Wake up call is at 2:00 AM. We will board our 4x4 jeep to Penanjakan 1 for star-trail photography and sunrise shoot. After sunrise shoot, we will head back to our accommodation for breakfast. After breakfast we will ride our vehicle to our homestay near Tumpak Sewu. We will explore and photograph around Tumpak Sewu during sunset. Meals: B June 07 (Day 5) Morning shoot in Tumpak Sewu. You may opt to stay at the panorama view deck and/or go down to the waterfalls to photograph it more closely. Tumpak Sewu is best photographed using a drone to include the towering Mount Semeru in the distance. We will head immediately to Bondowoso after breakfast and check out. We are expected to arrive in Bondowoso in the afternoon. We will have enough time for rest and preparation for Kawah Ijen trek. Meals included: B |
June 08 (Day 6)
Wake up call is at 12:01 AM. We will board our vehicle to the trailhead of Kawah Ijen. We will accompanied by our guides. Trekking time up to the crater is around 60 to 90 minutes depending on the pacing. You can hire porters/cart to carry your stuff or yourself up to the crater. After sunrise shoot, we will head back immediately to our homestay in Bondowoso for tidy up and check out. We will have our lunch along the way as we head back to Surabaya. Our estimated time of arrival in Surabaya is around 5:00 - 7:00 PM. We will check in at our hotel near the airport after dinner. Meals included: B June 09 (Day 7) Flight departure in Surabaya. 3. We accept payments via remittance, wire, bank, G-Cash, Paymaya or using your credit cards via PayPal Checkout.
4. A deposit / down payment of at least 50% of the total fee is required to sign up for a tour.
5. Trip deposits / down payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.
6. Full payment / balance is due at least 30 days (for local tours) and 90 days (for international tours) prior to departure date.
7. No partial refunds are made for unused portions or services of a trip for any reason whatsoever.
8. Cancellation fees are not transferable.
